I am committed to providing the highest quality service to you and your project. I grew up in Portland Oregon, the son of a carpenter who built one house at a time from the ground up. Working with my father I learned the trade from a young age. After high school, I worked for 4 years with a master finish carpenter in the Portland area finishing new homes. I soon turned to remodeling, starting my own company in the mid-1980’s. Learning that trade I found myself drawn to design and detail. I’ve always enjoyed working with client’s needs and developing designs to meet them. In 2013 my family and I decided to move out to Montana for a change of pace and scenery. The plan was to spend a year here to recharge and move on. Well, 3+ years later it’s hard to think of living anywhere else.
Since moving here I have applied my skills to working on smaller projects and the building of custom “one of a kind” pieces of furniture. Going to the shop and waiting for the wood to decide what it wants to become is how I have come to think of it. If you are interested in anything from a complete new kitchen to a simple table I would enjoy the opportunity to work with you. We are licensed and insured in the State of Montana.
